Jello Sal

A 2 track single (4m 9s) — released January 17th 2011 on Bandera

Midwest madness and wild windy city bop from Chicago with this MEGA-RARE gem from the BANDERA label. Despite everyone's best efforts, Bandera 1302 failed to sell and consequently is now one of the most sought-after rockabilly originals, with collectors paying up to $1000 for a good copy. Ingram's record was then leased to Nashville-based Todd Records in 1959, although it was never released. On the flip Benny Ingrams backing band the Sidewinders lead by Rick Emerson throw down a dirty guitar surf instrumental. Two very tough tracks with two smokin guitar breaks. On Snowball White Coloured Vinyl. Very Limited Repress. Played by DJ Keb Darge , Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and Cut Chemist.
